The Kempton Group

The Kempton Group (TKG), a marketing communications firm located in downtown Cincinnati, is seeking an intern to assist on various projects throughout December. The intern's main project will be to design a TKG newsletter, organize an extensive database of recipients from TKG's client lists, and prepare the newsletter for email execution. Other responsibilities will include updating internal databses, proof reading business documents and calling on prospedtive clients if and when appropriate.

Applicant should be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel. Some graphic design experience is preferred, but not required. The internship will be a paid position with workload raning from 30 to 40 hours a week taking place over Winter Break.

Bob Evans Farms, Inc.

The marketing/pr intern will be exposed to all aspects of restaurant marketing and public relations, which includes media relations, event promotion, digital media, marketing evaluation, new product introduction, etc. Examples of job duties include:

--> Assisting in all areas of Bob Evans Restaurants participation with key Sponsor Partners (e.x. Dayton Dragons, The ohio State uNiversitiy Buckeyes, Columbus Crew, Columbus Zoo, Cleveland Zoo, etc.)
--> Planning and coordinating Restaurant Grand Opening "Rise & Shine" events (visit the Rise & Shine blog to learn about the events)
--> Maintaining and frequently updating three company blogs

--> Working evening and possible weekend events (some travel may be involved)
--> Participating in marketing staff meetings
--> Staying up-to-date on industry news and trends by compiling a daily "Restaurant News" email
--> Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Ohio University Student Senate

The Director of Public Relations shall be responsible for publicizing Senate activities, decisions, actions, events, and meetings to the general public and student body; and other duties as delegated by the Executive Officers. This position would begin during Fall quarter and run the duration of the regular school year.
