Nader Ali-Hassan, Manager, Digital Communications at Fleishman-Hillard Cleveland, provides strategic planning, media relations, litigation support, online marketing, integrated marketing communications, and both traditional and non-traditional marketing in both traditional and emerging channels for the firm’s consumer, healthcare, and public affairs clients. He is also active in the agency’s digital, multi-cultural, litigation communications, retail, and animal care efforts.
Since joining Fleishman-Hillard, Mr. Ali-Hassan has provided local, national, and trade media relations counsel and directed message development, crisis communications, and communications program development for clients in animal and human healthcare, professional service, retail, and a variety of other industries.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Mr. Ali-Hassan served as the director of employer development for Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Law, where he directed trends analysis and led marketing communications efforts for the law school’s career services office – motivating prospective employers to recruit CWRU-trained attorneys.
Prior to joining CWRU, Mr. Ali-Hassan gained valuable legal and multicultural experience as a law clerk for Jihad Smaili, Esq. L.L.C., a Cleveland-based law firm focused on serving a Middle Eastern clientele. With Jihad Smaili, he assisted litigators and clients in trial preparation for a variety of employment, criminal, immigration, and civil law cases. In this role, he combined his legal skills and cultural knowledge to help his clients navigate complex multicultural issues. In addition, he developed and implemented litigation support services including crisis communications and spokesperson training programs.
A native of Boston, Mr. Ali-Hassan earned a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in communications, with a concentration in public relations, from Boston University. He is highly conversant in French as a result of studying the language for three summers at S.E.T.P. in Ciney, Belgium.
