No meeting tonight - focus group this Friday!

I hope you were all able to enjoy the long weekend! Please remember that that there is no meeting this evening (Jan.19) because of the holiday. We will resume our regular meeting time next Monday.

For those of you who were able to attend our first meeting last week, you heard about a focus group opportunity with Zolio.com this Friday, Jan. 23. Participants will receive a free pizza dinner, refreshments and a gift card to the Front Room Coffeehouse. The first 20 people to reply to scripps.prssa@gmail.com will be have a reservation to participate. Focus groups are often a part of communications research, and this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved and observe how one is conducted. The group will meet at 4pm in Baker (location and further details will be mailed to participants). If you wish to participate, please be clear about wanting to do so in your reply email.

Finally, we will be conducting elections for next year's PRSSA Executive Board in March. We will be distributing an information sheet soon that describes the responsibilities of each position. All dues-paying members are eligible to run. More details will be given at next week's meeting. As always, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
