Social media overload bringing you down? Come check out “New leadership: New Skills?”, a symposium about social media and a great opportunity to hear from one of our very own alumni.
This presentation will feature:
-Chuck Underwood, founder and president of The Generational Imperative, Inc.
Well known for his research in underlying generational values and beliefs that have guided the decision-making of Americans for decades, Underwood will address how different generations of Americans have approached leadership. He will also touch upon the generational dynamics present in both the workplace and marketplace today.
-Jason Weaver, founder and CEO of SWAY, Inc. and Shoutlet.
Weaver is considered an authority in social media; he speaks for many organizations, including American Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America and American Advertising Federations. His company, SWAY, Inc. has been consulted on the social media efforts of companies around the world.
The symposium, which is hosted by Alden Library and the Ohio Fellows Program, will take place in room 135, Walter Hall on Saturday, September 19 at 9:30 a.m. Ohio Fellow and director of the Scripps School of Journalism, Tom Hodson, will moderate a follow-up question and answer session.
