WOUB Pledge Drive
The WOUB radio 3-day pledge drive starts on February 7, and is still looking for volunteers to take pledge calls. Shifts are usually in 2 hour increments, but if someone can't cover an entire shift then members can be rotated in and out. PACE Job at Kennedy Museum of Art
The Kennedy Museum of Art at the Ridges is looking for a PR, Marketing, Guest Services PACE position to start immediately for winter and spring 2012. The position averages 10 hours a week and responsibilities include assisting PR manager with press releases, mass email, web calendar updates, social media, print piece content and any projects related to the marketing of the museum events or products. Applicants must be reliable with a high level of personal responsibility and customer service skills. An interview is required. Edelman PRSSA Award
The Edelman/ PRSSA Award for an Outstanding Public Relations Student is now accepting applications. This award recognizes PRSSA student members who demonstrate exceptional leadership ability, a commitment to a career in the field of PR and contribute substantially to PRSSA. The award includes $1,500 cash and a 3-month paid internship in one of Edelman's U.S. offices. The Runner-up recives an award of $500 and an opportunity to interview at one of Edelman's U.S. offices for a full time position.
