Fahlgren Mortine Edward Howard Legacy Internship
The competitive Edward Howard Legacy Internship is offered in the Cleveland and Dayton, Ohio offices of Fahlgren Mortine. It is a paid, full-time internship where interns are introduced to all aspects of public relations, including strategic planning, research, media relations, social media engagement, writing, internal communications, special events and online communications. The candidate must be a full-time student currently in his/her sophomore or junior year of college and while preference is given to public relations, communications and journalism majors, all applicants will be considered. Additionally, applicants should posses strong research, organizational and writing skills; a proven understanding of public relations, social media and online and traditional media, including AP style; and have the talent, drive, and ability to work independently and in team settings. This is a paid ($12/ hour) full-time position (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.). More information and application can be found online.
Internships with City Parks Foundation in NYC
The City Parks Foundation in NYC is now accepting applications for its summer 2012 Marketing & Communications and Photography internships. Applicants for both positions must be available for approximately 25 hrs/ week and have a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends with the ability to travel to off-site events. Communications interns will assist with some general office tasks as well as have marketing, publicity and social media duties. Photography interns will have the opportunity to photograph a variety of programs produced by the City Parks Foundation.
